This is another one about lost love. It has a sweet melody and nice harmonies. I liked the old world feel that resulted by using the 12 string as a mandolin and the synth. for the bass lines.
lyrics
Been sittin' back lazy afternoon.
The sun swept smiles of summer tunes.
They echo ever gently right through my head.
I think about you now and then is summer said.
In dreams I've seen you riding there in my car.
The scenes of you made me wonder,
Just where you are and where you're going.
Are you near or very far?
It seems this life, though throwing us,
Has kept you running through my heart.
You know I loved you then.
I never could pretend about my feelings,
Right from summer's start.
In dreams I've seen you lying there in my arms.
The scenes of you make me wonder,
Just where you are and where you're going.
Are you near or very far?
It seems this life, though throwing us,
Has kept you running through my heart.
You know I loved you then.
I never could pretend about my feelings.
Right from summer's start.
Been sittin' back lazy afternoon.
The sun swept smiles of summer tunes,
They echo ever gently right through my head.
I'll think about you now and then is summer said...
